You get a list of current Hotmail friends already on Zamante you can add to your football network.
You get a list of Hotmail friends who are not yet on Zamante. Add those who are active as a player, coach, club collaborator, agent or scout and send them in 1 click your Zamante football profile.
Zamante is always looking for new possibilities/features and this new version contains a lot of new functions and improvements.
Search by name: clubs en members combined
With the renewed search engine it’s no longer required to indicate whether you’re looking for a club or a Zamante-member. From now on you can type a name and instantly get all the results, divided into clubs and members. We immediately indicate how many search results are available and you can also filter by land and profile (player, coach, …).
Have you mistyped? Don’t worry! A suggestion for a new and correct seach is immediately given. Furthermore will you find suggestions in the search bar, while you’re typing keywords. This wil immediately direct you to the club page or the profile page you were looking for.
Premium membersretain acces to additional features such as position, level, region, … (between 49 and 149/EUR/year).

It is now possible to post a message or a YouTube video directly onto your homepage. Furthermore are the comments on your message visible for all your friends.

Do you want to extend your football network? From now on it’s impossible not to. In the main menu you will find both “Contacts” (your current football contacts on Zamante) and “Extend your football network”.

Zamante is aging, but nevertheless getting faster. We moved to new servers and infrastructure, so the speed is considerably increased. We also made some technical improvements so you can log on much faster.

Zamante has added a new feature to his arsenal. Thanks to an overview page you can have a look at all the results of all divisions in Belgium. Zamante is the only website in Belgium who offers both the Walloon and the Flemish results (from 1st division until 4th provincial) and that for all the teams (1st squad, reserves and youth until U15).
Navigating through this overview page is easy and can be time saving. Even if you’re not a member of Zamante, everybody can access these pages.
Next to a full overview of all the results the rankings are now also available. On every clubpage the rankings and the latest results are now displayed. Also on every profile page the latest scores of every team and rankings can be found. Football friends, scouts and interested clubs can follow every performance and changes in the rankings easily.
Members of Zamante : automatic updates of the results on your dashboard
Everybody who’s a member of Zamante, can start making football friends. By making connections you’ll automatically receive their results on your dashboard. Or you can choose to “follow” anonymously to stay tuned-in to clubs and interesting players’ careers. All your network’s latest career updates and match results appear automatically on your Zamante dashboard.
Last Wednesday, Lionel Messi created a Fan page on Facebook. He might be late, but people have been waiting for him apparently. After only 7 hours, he almost counts 7 million likes. It’s funny: go to the fan page and refresh the page ( press F5 on your keyboard). You’ll notice that Lionel Messi gets new fans every second. I wonder when Lionel Messi will activate his football profile on Zamante ;-)
Football clubs and football stars make more and more use of social networks like Facebook. FC Barcelona has got 12 million fans on Facebook, Manchester United 11,5 million. We notice more and more “lower level” clubs use social networks to communicate with their fans. I posted this useful social media guide for sports clubs and athletes earlier on the Zamante blog.
Zamante is a social network for those actively involved in football: football players, coaches, club collaborators, scouts and agents. Clubs can also use Zamante to communicate with their fans. The page is publicly available, club collaborators can post articles and results are updated automatically. But most of all it is the place for club collaborators and coaches to get and stay in contact with players, follow careers and create free transfer opportunities.
Until now, only club collaborators and coaches were able to post their search for reinforcement on Zamante. On request of several members, we developed a new functionality: from now on players and coaches can also post their transfer offer online. Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you feel it’s time to move up in football?
The results of all Belgian teams are available on Zamante from 1st division until 4th Provincial League. You will not only find the results of the first squad but also of the second squad and youth teams (until U15). You can expect an update of these results every monday (national competitions) and tuesday (provincial divisions).
How does it work ?
Create your free football profile on Zamante and choose your club and team from the list. Match results & league season calendar are automatically added to your profile page and updated weekly. Your football contacts get your latest updates and match results on their dashboard. And for you, it’s easy to follow their career.

Hoe werkt het ?
Je creëert je gratis profiel op Zamante. Je kiest je club en team uit de lijst en vanaf dan worden de resultaten van je team automatisch aan je profielpagina toegevoegd. Ook de clubpagina’s worden geüpdatet. Elke maandag (nationale reeksen) en dinsdag (provinciale reeksen) mag je van deze resultaten een update verwachten.
Je hebt als Zamante-lid een persoonlijk dashboard waarop al het laatste nieuws van je voetbalconnecties op Zamante wordt verzameld. Zo wordt het makkelijk de laatste resultaten, wedstrijdverslagen en nieuwtjes van al je voetbalcontacten te volgen. Omgekeerd krijgt iedereen die jou volgt, onmiddellijk je laatste resultaat en wedstrijdverslag te zien.

I wanted to share this interesting guide about sports and social media for sports clubs and athletes. It lists the benefits of social media and the possibilities. After all, it’s all about creating great content, sharing it and interacting with the fans. And that’s the good news for sports clubs and athletes. They have such great content so many people are interested in, especially the fans. So, depending on the size of the club, they should create content themselves or hire someone to do so. It will help them to gain more fans and thus more sponsors.
I’m totally convinced this is true for every level. Especially local clubs and athletes can get much more exposure using social media. For those not familiar with social media: read this guide. It’s hands-on and will help you to get started.
We just launched zamante.com. It’s a network for those active in football: players, coaches, clubs, scouts and agents. At every level, worldwide. It gives players the possibility to manage their own football career. Kind of a LinkedIn for football. We want football players to attain their full potential. We believe building a football network, sharing news about a career and results and bonding is key to this. Today, you can do this via the internet. That’s why we built a network especially for football. The network is only for those active in football, but connects with other social networks like Facebook. We’re online since Friday and doing the last fine-tuning. I’ll write another to announce the launch.
